Operations Manager in Baton Rouge, LA

Terracon is looking for an Office Manager for there well established thriving office in Baton Rouge, LA. The position became available when the person who was in this position accepted a new role within the organization. The current office has a staff of approximately. 45 employees, and has a technical focus in the following areas; Geotechnical, Construction Materials & Environmental. They would like to bring on an individual who has a strong focus on environmental. The environmental department currently has a staff of six individuals, and they are doing a mix of Environmental Site Assessments, Soil & Groundwater Remediation, Industrial Hygiene, Wetlands and NEPA work. The perfect candidate is someone with solid and diverse skill-set that matches the technical capabilities of the environmental group. This person should have min 12 yrs of consulting background, and have a successful track record in management of staff as well as working in a Seller-Doer capacity. This person would ideally be around 50% billable. They are open on the technical degree, but if the person had an MBA that would be a plus.
